Themethursday - Christmas

This is my entry for Themethursday.
I always try to work digital collages (like this) like a handmade one, because I really like the handmade. But I'm a little bit over with the mess on my studio: old books, paints, pencils, rubberstamps, glue and a lot of little things. My workplace is not that big for all those stuff.
And my scanner had the bad idea not to work! And I couldn't find a flatplate scanner yet (which I love), only this uggly things that are printer, fax and whatever.
Then I've decided to do digital collages for a while.

Themethursday - Pattern Paper

Themethursday ask us this week to make "Pattern Paper". I love to mix differents patterns together and I love the theme.
The background is a freebie from a scrapbook blog, but I don't remember the name. The scalloped paper I did it myself as well as the scripted paper. Tha girl is from my own collage sheets.
I'm in a creative "hole", I'm not satisfied with my work this days. But it happens from time to time.

These week the theme by "Themethursday" is Borders.

I set myself the challenge to make a digital collage like a handmade collage. To make this I cut every piece of the border, I cut the heart and the cloud like if I was working with a scissor, I painted every dress and cut also the scalloped border.

Themethursday - Favorite colors

These week in Themethursday we have to use our favorite colors.
I have no favorite colors, but there are some that I use in the most of my works: blue and yellow (ochre) and sometimes purple, in all shadows, maybe because I love Van Gogh. And of course black and white, but people say this are not colors.
Here is my work made with blue and ochre.

Mixed media monday - mother and daughter

This is a little box, I've made some time ago. The box is about 5"x5" . I painted it with a dark blue, glued over many little stars and added the hanger, which is here. I added another wing on it and put it all on the box.
Maybe I like Laundry, because the laundry day was a happy day when I was young, water, sun and all the clothes hanging in the wind.
